Newspaper rock

Newspaper Rock is located 12 miles west of US 191 and is just one of the many petroglyphs that you will find in and around Canyonlands National Park in Utah. This engraved cliff wall measures about 200 square feet and is an extremely dense Native American petroglyph. Some of the contributors date back some 1500 years or possibly longer, and were from the Archaic, Ancestral Puebloans, Fremont, Ute as well as European and Hispanic cultures.
