Schnebly Hill Road

Located on the outskirts of Sedona and named after TC Schnebly, founder of Sedona early 1900s.This unpaved road allowed us to view amazing landscapes. As we drove higher the red rock formations unfolded with a view of Sedona in the background. We stopped near the top of the road, and after a short hike, we found ourselves perched on the edge of a cliff that overlooked the canyon below. After waiting for several hours for the clouds to dissipate,  the sunlight finally appeared and illuminated the red rock, it was just the effect that I was waiting for.
